Hollilander recruitment has now stepped into the division of Agency nursing for Nurses and Healthcare assistant’s roles in Ireland.
For those who are unaware about Agency Nursing, it means being employed by an independent staffing organization to work in hospitals and nursing homes on a daily, weekly, or contractual basis. Irish healthcare sector is experiencing a significant rise in agency/contractual roles due to the insufficiency of healthcare workers in the country.
Being employed as an Agency staff allows you work and earn extra apart for you existing permanent job. Agency work gives you the freedom to give a boost to your hours and pay as well as gain experience in multiple environments without committing to any one employer.
To work as an agency nursing, they are certain requirements which need to be adhered as per the rules:
- Garda vetted
- Previous related Healthcare/Nursing experience
- Qualification in Elderly care/Healthcare service (FETAC Level 5)
- Reference checks
