We have an exciting opportunity for Staff Nurse based at Silverpine Respite House, Bray.
Contract Status
Full Time Permanent Contract (39 hours per week)
The Role:
To work as part of a dedicated and innovative team in a 5 bed community based house providing respite and holiday breaks for children with physical and/or Intellectual disabilities, within a quality framework.
To provide nursing care and family support services to meet the assessed needs of children, young people and their families.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Outlined in Job Description.
The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
• A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in General or Paediatric Nursing or Intellectual Disability Nursing.
• Candidates should be eligible to work in Ireland
• Must be registered with An Bord Altranais.
Desirable Criteria:
• Registered Children’s Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or General Nursing.
• Experience of working with children with physical disabilities and or learning disabilities and their families.
