കോവിഡ്-19 ബാധയെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഏപ്രിലില്‍ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ച ഡോ. സയ്യിദ് വഖാര്‍ അലി കഴിഞ്ഞ മൂന്നു മാസമായി തീവ്രപരിചരണ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു.ഫ്രണ്ട് ലൈനില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ഡോ. സയ്യിദ് വഖാര്‍ അലി (59 )ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച നിര്യാതനായി. ലോക്കം കണ്‍സള്‍ട്ടന്റ് ആയിരുന്നു.15 വര്‍ഷത്തിലേറെയായി അയർലണ്ടിലെ ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പില്‍ ഡോക്ടർ ആയി വർക്ക് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. പാക്കിസ്ഥാനി സ്വദേശി ആയിരുന്നു .ഭാര്യയും അഞ്ച് മക്കളുള്ള കുടുംബത്തോടൊപ്പം ടൈറല്‍സ്റ്റൗണിലാണ് ഡോ. അലി താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
കോവിഡ് രോഗികളെ ചികിൽസിക്കുന്നതിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചിരുന്ന ഡോ. സയ്യിദ് വഖാര്‍ അലി (59 ) യുടെ നിര്യാണത്തില്‍ ആദരാഞ്ജലി അര്‍പ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് മാറ്റര്‍ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലെ സ്റ്റാഫ് ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ ഒരു മിനുട്ട് മൗനം ആചരിച്ചു. കഠിനാധ്വാനിയായ വ്യക്‌തിത്വവും സഹവർത്തിത്വവും കൊണ്ട് സഹപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ എക്കാലവും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഓര്‍മിക്കുമെന്ന് മാറ്റര്‍ ആശുപത്രി പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച അനുശോചന സന്ദേശത്തില്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 60 വയസ്സ് തികയേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന ഡോ. സയ്യിദ് വഖാര്‍ അലി (59) അതിനു വേണ്ടി കാത്തു നില്ക്കാതെ യാത്രയായി.

Very humble and down to earth personality, Dr Syed Waqar Ali Shah, is fighting for his life against Covid-19 and from last 50 days he is on ventilator in ICU of The Mater Hospital Dublin.
He studied in medicine in Pakistan and to moved to Ireland and got Covid-19 while treating his patients.
He is the only one to run his family of 6 including mother.
Now his wife having nothing to feed their children.
I making this account to get funds to help Dr Syed's family along with to fulfill need of other frontline worker families suffering from recent pandemic.
