TESCO

All Tesco stores will stay closed on Christmas Day, while some may decide to open back up on Stephens Day.

Tesco is set to operate on extending opening hours in selected stores across the country this Christmas.Stores have different opening hours than usual over the coming days with most staying open later on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. In some stores, Tesco will open from 7am to 7pm on Christmas Eve.

DUNNES STORES

Dunnes Stores shops nationwide are set to extend their opening hours to 2am in selected stores across Christmas week, but exact hours differ depending on your local store.

• All of their stores will close early on Christmas Eve and will be shut on Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day.
• Dunnes Stores will be back open to the public on December 27 from 8.30am until 9pm.
• Exact store opening hours may depend on your location, however, on Christmas Eve all Dunnes Stores will open at 7am and close at 6pm.

Supervalu branches are each run individually and will operate with varying opening hours over Christmas.
