Purpose of the role
An Exciting Opportunity:
Mount Carmel Hospital has been identified as a site for a surgical hub for the south side of Dublin under the clinical governance of St. James's Hospital.
This hub will consist of 2 day theatres and 2 minor operation theatres covering a wide variety of specialties.
It is planned to open the unit in December 2023.
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented nurses to work in this dedicated day surgery unit, providing excellent, compassionate, and research-driven care to all patients.
Applications are invited for the posts of Staff Nurse for the operating theatres and surgical ward nurses for the post-operative ward area to deliver high quality care.
Full-time and part-time posts will be available and all opportunities of continuous learning and education will be delivered in the unit.
