There are currently about a thousand vacancies in the Defense Forces. To complement this, the 'Be More' campaign was launched to increase the strength of the Army and Naval Air Corps and to recruit 2,000 new recruits. With the addition of 1,000, the strength of the Defense Forces will increase to 9,500.
The Army and Naval Service Cadetship Competition 2022 is open for applications. Current Defence Forces career's on offer in the Army, Naval Service and Air Corps. The Defence Forces are recruiting in the following areas:

Army Cadetships include; Army Line Cadet, Army Equitation Cadet, Army Graduate Engineer Cadet and Army Graduate Ordnance Cadet.
Naval Service (NS) Cadetships include; NS Operations Cadet, NS Electrical Engineer Cadet and NS Marine Engineer Cadet.
