കോവിഡ് വ്യാപനത്തെതുടർന്ന് രാജ്യാന്തര യാത്രാവിമാനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ വിലക്ക് വീണ്ടുംനീട്ടി. ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റ് ജനറൾ ഓഫ് സിവിൽ ഏവിയേഷൻ(ഡിജിസിഎ) ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 31വരെയാണ് രാജ്യാന്തര സർവീസുകൾക്ക് വിലക്കേർപ്പെടത്തിയത്.
കോവിഡ് വ്യാപനത്തെതുടർന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞവർഷം മാർച്ച് 23മുതലാണ് രാജ്യാന്തര വിമാനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്ത്യ വിലക്കേർപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. എന്നാൽ വന്ദേ ഭാരത് വിമാനങ്ങളും യുഎസ്, യുഎസ്, യുകെ ഉൾപ്പടെയുള്ള 27 രാജ്യങ്ങളുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് എയർ ബബിൾ ക്രമീകരണങ്ങളോടെ പ്രത്യേക വിമാനങ്ങളും സർവീസ് നടത്തിയിരുന്നു
കോവിഡിന്റെ മൂന്നാംതരംഗഭീഷണ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നതിനാലും പലരാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ഡെൽറ്റാ വകഭേദം വ്യാപിക്കുന്നതിനാലുമാണ് വിലക്ക് നീട്ടിയത്. നേരത്തെ ജൂലായ് 31വരെയാണ് വിലക്ക് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നത്.
