Staff Nurse    Job Title: Staff Nurse Date: January 2021     Reports to: Director of Nursing Job Profile       Responsibility/Activity      Care of Residents ·       Ensure that all care delivered is of the highest standard of nursing care using an evidence based, care planning approach to those living in Oakfield Nursing.

Candidate Profile:
Experience	RGN and 1+ years post qualification experience for the elderly.
Education	What education is typically required for the job?   Leaving Cert RGN Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree
	Field of Study (if applicable): Social Studies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities	·       Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness when dealing with patients. ·       Ability to make important decisions quickly. ·       Converse with all staff, patients and families in a lucid and professional and friendly manner. ·       Treat all people with dignity and respect. ·       To act consistently and in line with the culture within Oakfield. ·       Pleasant and caring manner. ·       Flexible and team-player.
